The new year has begun!
Over the past year, at the lesbian café & bar Cafe & Bar Amrita in Doyama, Osaka, we were delighted to welcome many guests through our curry, drinks, and a wide variety of events.
The owner, aco, has been enjoying her progress in pole dance more and more, practicing every day to the point of being sore all over (laughs). Recently, the number of pole dancers and people engaged in expressive and creative activities in the Doyama area has been gradually increasing, and we truly feel that the atmosphere of this neighborhood is slowly but surely changing.
Amrita aims to be a safe and welcoming place primarily for lesbians, and for the broader LGBTQ community, while cherishing and nurturing the culture and connections of Doyama.
Through many new encounters, events, and our regular daily operations, we hope to continue energizing and celebrating the lesbian scene in Osaka’s Doyama area.
